〈Area Hanger〉는 행거를 단순한 가구가 아닌 안과 밖, 외출과 귀가의 경계에 놓인 작은 공간으로 바라보고, 재료의 가공을 통해 상반된 영역이 공존하는 구조를 제시한다. 금속 판재를 절곡한 작품의 안쪽은 매끄럽게, 바깥쪽은 거칠게 마감하여 하나의 물체 안에 서로 다른 두 영역을 구성한다. 경계에 놓인 파이프는 안과 밖을 가르는 동시에 연결하며, 두 영역 사이에서 미묘한 긴장감을 유지한다.
Area Hanger reimagines the coat rack not simply as a piece of furniture, but as a small space situated at the boundary between inside and outside, departure and return. Through the treatment of its materials, the work presents a structure in which opposing areas coexist. The bent metal sheet has a smooth interior and a rough exterior, creating two distinct areas within a single object. A pipe placed along the boundary both separates and connects the two sides, maintaining a subtle tension between them.
