Area Hanger reimagines the coat rack as more than a piece of furniture, envisioning it as a small space situated at the boundary between inside and outside, or between departure and return. Through its form and material treatments, it presents a structure in which opposing areas coexist. The bent metal sheets are finished with a smooth interior and a rough exterior, creating two distinct areas within a single object. A pipe positioned along the boundary both separates and connects the inside and outside, maintaining a subtle tension between the two areas.
