〈Fixed Movement〉 시리즈는 재료를 가공하는 과정에서 발생하는 흔적을 활용하여 시간성과 운동성과 같은 비물질적 특성을 시각화한다. 금속 표면에 축적된 점진적인 연마의 흔적은 고정된 구조 안에서 내부 요소들이 이동하는 듯한 인상을 형성하며, 정지된 형태와 유동하는 상태라는 상반된 두 감각 사이를 오간다.
이처럼 재료의 물질성과 그것을 변화시키는 공정을 통해 작품은 역설적으로 비물질적인 감각을 고정된 구조 안에 담아내고, 물질을 바라보는 시선에 변화를 유도한다.
The Fixed Movement series visualizes immaterial qualities such as temporality and movement through traces generated during material transformation. Gradual polishing marks accumulated on the metal surface create the impression of elements moving within a fixed structure, oscillating between a static form and a fluid state.
Through the materiality of the work and the processes that transform it, the series paradoxically captures intangible sensations within a fixed structure, prompting a shift in how we perceive material.
